Single Entry Business Visa
The Single Entry Business Visa for Indonesia is for foreign nationals who intend to enter Indonesia to conduct business activities, for instance, meetings or negotiations. This entry visa extension can be valid up to 60 days upon entry and can be extended up to two times with an additional 60 days for each extension, leading to a total of 180 days.

However, it is a single-entry visa, so after leaving Indonesia, one will be regarded as an expired visa holder and cannot re-enter unless one applies for it

PMA Registration
PMA Registration in Indonesia refers to creating a PT PMA, this Indonesian visa offers Foreign Investment Limited Liability Company. It happens to be one legal entity to help the foreigners in Indonesia where they are entitled to doing some businesses in one form or other.

The establishment of a PT PMA is subject to Indonesian laws, including Law No. 25 of 2007 on Investment, which stipulates a minimum investment of IDR 10 billion, or state budget approximately USD 670,000.

The registration process is quite a process and involves steps such as company name approval, drafting the Deed of Establishment, and registration through the OSS system to secure necessary licenses and tax identification

Work Visa (KITAS)
Work Visa or KITAS, Kartu Izin Tinggal Terbatas, is a limited-stay visa type that allows a foreign national the legal right to be employed in Indonesia for 6 to 12 months, depending upon employment status and contract terms.
The applicant needs to get a VITAS, and subsequently an ITAS, from the sponsoring employer in Indonesia. Such a visa sponsor Indonesia has to be registered with the Ministry of Manpower. For its part, the employer has to obtain an IMTA (work permit) for the employee.

The documents that will be presented are a valid passport, evidence of qualifications needed in the education profession, curriculum vitae, as well as some company documents which include business licenses and tax identification number.

KITAS permits one to work but also can open bank accounts, pay taxes, and get other services that are available in Indonesia. Extensions are possible, and it takes several weeks for visa application process for a KITAS

Dependent Visa (KITAS)
The Dependent Visa, or KITAS, is a special visa for family members of foreign nationals who hold a primary KITAS or work permit.

This visa allows spouses and children under 18 years old to stay in Indonesia for the duration of the primary visa within holder’s stay, which is usually valid for one year and renewable for up to five consecutive years in Indonesia without having to leave the country.

The basic supporting documents required by the applicant during the application are a marriage and children’s birth certificate, documents showing the person’s legal stay in Indonesia.

Despite the fact that this visa allows having a bank account, registering your mobile phone with the cellular providers, and many other benefits accruing from KITAS ownership, it restricts full-time employment.

Instead, holders can pursue part-time work by applying for a working permit, usually called IMTA. The application visa process can be completed online, and upon approval, the dependent family members will need to attend a biometric session at an immigration office in Indonesia to complete the issuance of their KITAS card.

Investor KITAS
The Investor KITAS (Kartu Izin Tinggal Terbatas) is a special purpose type of visa is valid for foreign investors who wish to establish and operate businesses in Indonesia. The visa allows the holders to reside in the country while managing their investments, and this provides an
easy process for work authorization.

They both permit multiple entry visa and exit of Indonesia during their validity period. Secondly, the Investor KITAS holders do not have to pay work permit fees every year, and hence it offers a cheaper option for foreign investors. Overall, the Investor KITAS is a good tool for drawing foreign investment and encouraging residence in Indonesia
